Pushing Pixels
I’m a freelance 2D/3D motion designer with a strong background in animation. I originally went to school for 3D character animation but tripped into the motion design scene after graduation. I interned and later freelanced with a few studios/agencies in downtown Pittsburgh for several years, learning along the way. I followed my girlfriend (now wife) to Raleigh, NC where I worked for a video agency and then as lead motion designer at a studio.
Now we’re back in Pitt and I’m back to freelance. The variety of motion design is what hooked me and won’t let me go. I’ve had the good fortune to work on a wide variety of projects for screens of all sizes - everything from social campaigns, UI animations, explainers, national commercials, and graphics for a National Geographic show.
